I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!

Nov. 9th, 2008 @ 12:44 pm My Birthday!
I know I have been long absent from LJ but I am so busy I often forget to post although I often think about doing so.

My birthday is in 4 days (November 13th) and I wanted to let those who were thinking of attending my birthday celebration, and/or those who were considering presenting me with a birthday present, some information.  Knowledge is power, you know.

Anyway...  for my birthday celebration we will be going to see the new James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.  In addition to Daniel Craig's James Bond we will/should be treated to the first full trailer for the upcoming movie, Star Trek.  Also that evening, either before or after, I would like to go to dinner at one of the following: Montana's, Olive Garden, The Keg, or Red Lobster.  I will poll the likely attendees and see which option is most popular.  The day and time are up for debate but it will be either Friday evening or Saturday evening. (November 14th or 15th)

For those of you interested in showering me with gifts, I am in dire need of a new computer and thus I would ask that you consider contributing to that effort with either cash or Memory Express gift cards.  I would be very grateful!

Thanks everyone and if you haven't heard from me in awhile please don't take offense, I am beyond busy these days.

Jan. 13th, 2008 @ 11:56 pm Great Day!
I know I haven't updated my journal in a very very long time but I finally have something to say here!

Kesar and I had a blast today.  We went to three movies! At 1:00 PM we went to National Treasure 2, then we went to I am Legend at 4:20 PM and at 7:30 PM we went to Sweeney Todd.  After the movies we went to have dinner at The Keg.  It was a lot of fun.  I enjoyed spending quality time with Kesar.  She is a good friend and is a very fun person to be around so we had a great time.

I hope I made her happy and distracted her from Rob.  I want to help in any way I can.

Have a good sleep everyone!

Nov. 23rd, 2007 @ 12:44 pm Christmas Update

So, I was thinking recently about Christmas and I realized that while my intentions are good (asking everyone to help me pay for my eye surgery instead of buying me a gift), that many people prefer not giving money at Christmas.  Myself included.

So... here's my revised list for Christmas:

Money to help pay for my eye surgery

OR

Assassin's Creed (X360) (Bought This One)
Mass Effect (X360) (Bought This One)
Call of Duty 4 (X360)
Orange Box (X360)
BioShock (X360)

Crysis (PC)

Enjoy your Christmas shoping!

On the flip side, I have purchased gifts for Amy, Corey, Russ, Meg, Khaidin, Rachel.  I have decided on what to get for my mom, Kesar, Samantha.  The others I have some idea about but nothing firm.

Take care everyone!

UPDATE 2007/11/27:

I bought Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect for myself.  I promise that is it though, the rest I still want and will not buy before Christmas.

Aug. 8th, 2007 @ 02:12 pm People Watching

First of all, most people know this about me but I like to people watch.  Most people I know do it from time to time, and I am one of them.

Yesterday I had supper at Market Mall as I had to go there to get something.

While I was eating I saw a very strange looking family, remember this is a mall...

It was a father (45-55), daughter (18-21), Son (16-18).

The father had LONG (almost to his waist) straight, pure WHITE hair.  A grey suit but with the front unbuttoned and his shirt unbuttoned to mid chest.

The son had an afro/mohawk thing... blond hair.  Looked pretty odd.  He was wearing a T-shirt and shorts and running shoes... standard attire for a teen guy.

But the daughter was the one to catch eyes.  She was flat-out GORGEOUS.  I am saying this, a person who really doesn't like blondes much at all.  She had completely straight hair, as straight as I have ever seen and she had dyed her hair so it was mixed between black and blonde, it looked good.  As far as I could tell she was probably a natural blonde.  She was wearing a slinky black dress with a plunging V-neck that kind of spilled forward below her breasts, it wasn't indecent (not that I really care much about decency) but it was not what one would expect at a shopping mall.  The dress came to about 3/4 of the way down her thigh.  She also had black high-heels.  She looked really good... but my question is, why at the mall?

Overall, the three of them looked very odd together.  Very very odd.

For all those rather mystified by the untitled trailer before Transformers last night, this is what I could dig up:

It is a film to be released January 18, 2008 with the working title of Cloverfield.  It is being produced by J. J. Abrams.
